Are you ready because I am!

It's no secret.

That is if you know anything about me at all you know that I have a deep rooted love for all things football.

I grew up in a family that planned their Sunday's around the football schedule. I spent every Sunday on the couch while my Dad sat in the recliner and we watched football from the pre pregame shows until the last play at night. I love my football, ALL football.

Fast forward to now. I married a man who shares my love of sports and his favorite sport is also football. We will watch ANY football game, we love high school, college and NFL. Our weekend starts on Friday night with the High School game. On Saturday we plan our whole day around what time Penn State is playing. If we are not going to see Penn State at Happy Valley, we will either have friends over or go to their house to settle in and enjoy the game.
Sundays, forget about it. Don't ask me to do anything on Sunday! We are home the whole day parked in front of the TV with our EAGLES attire on ready to watch.

My perfect Sunday would be snow outside, electric blanket wrapped around me, laying on the couch all day while watching the games. Now there is the perfect day!

Add in that mix the fantasy league I'm in and you couldn't ask for anything more!! The fantasy league I joined last year was the first one I ever was a part of. I can't begin to tell you how much fun that added to my football season. I had so much fun with everyone in that league. It was an fantastic experience. I will be back this year for more antics and fun! I can't wait.

......and for those of you readers who are in the Fantasy League, yes I'll be bringing the chair, rest assured!

wish I could get into football. I try I really do but I can't do it. If I had a choice though I would watch high school games.
My husband loves the Dolphins even though are in New England.

When my husband and I lived in Auburn, we had a sofabed in front of the tv. On Sunday afternoons, we'd pull that thing out, order pizza and basically lay like stumps watching the games.

Now that there exists this think called Sunday Night Football it lasts even longer!

I grew watching baseball and I was a baseball fan for the longest time. Since they didn't have American football in Korea, I didn't really understand the game at first until an ex-BF took me to Jets games and took pains to explain things to me, and I became a fan. But now that I don't have TV, it's hard to follow either baseball or football. :(

I have made a commitment to myself that I will get into football this year. It is my gift to He-weasel. Wish me luck.

I'm more of a baseball fan (having both played and coached it), but I do like the football too. Go Niners!!!!
