The End.

See all my photographs here.

Did anyone happen to see my summer because I surely didn't and I don't know where the hell it went.
Next Monday I have my first meeting of the school year. I am sooooooo not ready for that.
It's true I worked this summer for the first time in years but I also had my fair share of days off. The time just flew by and now depression has set in knowing that the summer is coming to an end and the full time work load will be in effect.
It is so sad that we have an in-ground pool and I haven't set one foot in it all summer.
YET.
YET I say because hopefully this weekend I will get a day to just sit and read out by the pool and perhaps take an hour or two to float around on a raft. After that I plan on having dinner made on the grill and then ending the night around a campfire on our patio with some close friends. Sounds like a nice way to wrap up the summer. Lets hope the weather holds out.

You've been one busy lady. I don't want the summer to end for Mancub. The anxiety of homework and projects has me in knots. HE starts high school in a week. EEK! I don't want to have to wake up with an alarm. ACK!

Make the most of this week. :)

I can't believe the summer is over either. And, silly me, for some reason, I thought my work would get easier when the kids went back to school. I forgot about all the things that they need my attention for.

Summer is over? I thought it just started yesterday when the temperature finally went up to high 80's with 1000% humidity.

"Day by the pool" sounds so perfect. Jeez Miss J wishes she had one!

Enjoy what's left!

You have been so busy this summer! I am so glad I got to hog you and my other girlies for a few days of it! Next week, we go back into our school year rotation!

Time really flies, doesn't it? I feel like we haven't had summer because we didn't take any vacation trips this year. We did go to Texas for a wedding, but did not have a vehicle or means to go anywhere but our hotel and the wedding and back again.

However, I love all the time I spent with Lil Lady this year, and that in and of itself was the perfect way to spend summer.

I hope you have a great work-year ... and that next summer you get to use your pool more regularly, somehow!!
