Would have been here sooner but......

I would have been here sooner but the other day when I had time to post on this blog the "new post" page would not open for me. I guess that was fate telling me I needed to be doing other things. So I'm finally back and ready to play catch up.
As I told you last week I have started up a new blog: A Journey Through Cancer. I am hoping that in some small way it will make a difference. I have a lot of ideas for this blog and I hope that it will help anyone who is dealing in anyway with cancer.

Yesterday was the most beautiful day of the summer here. I took time to do some of the things that give me the most enjoyment. I grabbed my camera and took so photographs. Something that I had not done a while. It felt good to get behind that lens and shoot away.

I also took some time to do some relaxing on the back patio. There was a light breeze the temp was in the low 70's, it was perfect to just sit and relax with a good book, one of my favorite beverages, and some music in my ears.

Monday brings on a new week and my first steps back in the classroom for the new school year, two weeks of classroom prep and then we are off in a brand new school year. While I am very excited to have new students, I am also not quite ready to let go of my summer. However, as they say....all good things must come to an end.
